Ceres: Journal of Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences and Sustainable Development is a scientific dissemination and interdisciplinary thought journal, affiliated with Ediciones Clío. Ceres is a peer-reviewed journal with international scope, published on a semiannual basis. Its purpose is to promote research and critical reflections from an interdisciplinary and critical perspective that links engineering, technology, and agricultural sciences, with a focus on sustainable development.
Ceres fosters dialogue among disciplines such as Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Environmental Sciences, Agronomy, Animal Science, and related fields. It also pays special attention to studies addressing technological innovation, sustainability in agricultural systems, natural resource management, and the environmental impact of productive activities.
Each volume includes diverse sections to accommodate a wide range of intellectual contributions, such as scientific and technical articles, essays, interviews, accounts of technical experiences, science communication texts, reviews of books and audiovisual media, as well as institutional manifestos and declarations.
As an editorial team, we provide a space for rigorous and plural analysis of the issues affecting human communities and the natural environment, fostering a bridge of communication between academic, technical, and popular forms of knowledge. In addition, the journal seeks to challenge traditional forms of knowledge and contribute to their transformation through an ethical commitment to the natural, social, and cultural environment.
