Retraction, Correction and Erratum Policy

Ceres. Journal of Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences and Sustainable Development, in accordance with the COPE Retraction Code, undertakes to retract any article that, after the pertinent review during the editorial process, is detected as misconduct in the research due to non-compliance with the ethical and scientific standards of the discipline, redundant publications, plagiarism, conflict of interest; in addition, serious and unreliable erroneous data.

The retraction will be made in a transparent manner, the final decision rests with the Editor of the journal. The Editorial Committee will inform the reasons for the retraction to the authors by e-mail and it will be published both on the journal's website and in bibliographic databases. The process to be followed is carried out as shown in the COPE Diagram of retractions.

If small errors are detected that do not significantly affect the content and/or understanding of the article, the author is informed so that he/she can proceed with the correction. If the error depends on the edition or production of the journal, an erratum is issued and will be published in the following edition.

Conflict of interest policy

Ceres. Journal of Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences and Sustainable Development guarantees that any publication is free of undue influence, of a financial, non-financial, professional, contractual or personal nature, in the submission, review or publication of the work. Therefore, it requires authors to declare any conflict of interest they may have in relation to their research. Reviewers must also declare any conflict of interest they may have in relation to the articles they review. The journal reserves the right to reject any article suspected of containing an undeclared conflict of interest.

Misconduct

In Ceres. Journal of Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences and Sustainable Development, plagiarism and self-plagiarism in publications is not tolerated. We reserve the right to verify manuscripts received by means of an appropriate plagiarism detection tool, which includes ideas, words, data or other material produced by another person without referencing the source of origin.

Cases of controversy

The journal is committed to resolve cases of controversy through the Editorial Committee in cases in which the peer reviewers indicate that they have a conflict of interest with the text to be evaluated. The journal guarantees that the most suitable peer reviewers will be chosen also in terms of thematic and academic compatibility. In cases of doubt, the Editorial Committee will always be called upon to resolve these cases.
